About the program

The term “ABA” stands for Applied Behaviour Analysis, which refers to the science behind behaviour; ABA programs are supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) providing clinical oversight and ensuring best practices in service. Our clinicians will use ABA to develop adaptive behaviours that are important to your child’s overall function. You and your child will start with an assessment of your child’s unique needs and strengths with one of our clinicians. Together, you will develop a set of goals that your child will work towards in areas such as communication, play, daily living, and learning readiness. Goals might include improving language development, building school readiness skills, or increasing socially adaptive skills; goals like lengthening sentences or learning to request from people other than parents (language development), sitting in a chair and following simple instructions (school readiness).
